Uncanny.

Zadie was born 7 pounds even. At her two month appointment, she weighed 12 lbs. even. Can you see where I'm going with this? Today, for her four month visit, she clocked in at 15 pounds. Even. She's healthy, happy and hale.

Will they cancel his "KIDDO" membership?

So Nolan doesn't like meatloaf. Or chicken. Or fish. Or beans. Fair enough. But he also doesn't eat cheese - as in mac 'n' cheese, quesadillas, grilled on bread or in stick form. And today, I scraped the bottom of the barrel: hot dogs. And though he loves the Mo Willems book "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog" he would not eat the one (in a bun, no less!) on his plate.



Oh, he ate the chips and bell pepper and, as a substitution, the yogurt (seriously - I don't know what we'd do without yogurt.) As a parent, one wishes for small things: like a child who will eat protein from a source other than pasta.

Shhh!

A rarity!! Both children sleeping at the same time - of course, one is strapped to my body and the other will wake at the slightest sound, but for the moment...ahhhhhhhh I'm relaxing.

And if we ever need some extra cash, Nolan looks ready to work at that famous Seattle fish market - or heck, even right here at Fisherman's Wharf!
